The Humber Strategic Plan 2018-2023
identified the need to build an inclusive community.
A task force was mandated to develop an institutional framework to advance equity, diversity and inclusion.
This toolkit was developed as part of the strategic plan.
Humber centered Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion as one of the 3 key mindsets that are “crucial to the well-being and prosperity of individuals and communities”.
The Humber Learning Outcomes Framework. The first Main Learning Outcome is Key Mindsets which includes EDI, sustainability, and systems thinking. The second Main Learning Outcome is Meta-Skill which includes Critical Thinking. The third is Skills in Action, which includes collaboration, communication, digital fluency, innovation, leadership, professionalism, and strategic problem-solving.
