Certificate of Accomplishment

Program Code: PMD1

Program Overview

If you would like to advance your career in a project management-oriented role, where  project management frameworks are evolving from traditional to Agile and hybrid project management frameworks, and the  importance of  learning about these skillsets, our Project Management Certificate can help you achieve it.

According to the PMI Talent Gap report of June 2021, there is an increase in the number of jobs requiring project management-oriented skills. There will be a global need for 25 million new project professionals by 2030, which means that 2.3 million project managers and changemakers will be needed to fill project management-oriented roles every year to keep up with the demand.

The Project Management Certificate program is comprised of four courses designed to provide you with the knowledge, project skills, leadership,  interpersonal skills and tools to manage projects in a variety of fields such as construction, marketing, information technology,  pharmacy and event planning.  These courses and experiences will enable you to pursue a career in project management leading to professional certification such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and Professional Management Professional (PMP). The program is based on Project Management Institute's (PMI)® latest Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)® and its internationally recognized certification programs.

Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning is a recognized Authorized Training Partner with the Project Management Institute (ATP REP # 1672).
