Lakeshore Campus - Orientation

Orientation programing will also occur while Meet Your Faculty sessions run. Here you will have the chance to choose your journey at your Orientation. You can choose from participating in the departmental wide services fair, sign up for a campus tour, join IGNITE with there fun activities, eat delicious food, take a break at our wellness break session, and meet new people! 

All First-Year students are welcome to join us at the Lakeshore Campus. Please read below for some of the fun activities we have planned for you!

IGNITE Speed Friending

IGNITE is your student union that represent your voice. They will be joining your Orientation by bring fun and interactive activities! Some of these activities include Speed Friending, a Bubble Tea Bar, Waffle Bar, Photobooth, Games, and MORE!

Campus Tours

With the support from the recrutiment team, we will have Humber Ambassadors present for Campus Tours. Campus tours will be running throughout the day, check in at L buidling to sign up for a Campus tour!

Time: 11am - 3pm

Services Fair

Join us at a 1 stop shop where you will meet many departments and services at Humber! Here you will have the opportunity to chat with different departments that include our equity hubs, academic services, advancement services, wellness services and more!

Ask Me Stations

Orientation provides guidance throughout the area for news students to know exactly where they need to go and how to get there. Volunteers situated all over both the campuses are happy to help students. If you are lost during Orientation, find an Ask Me station!

Mentor Meet Up:

 First Year Experience and Orientation provides students with a Peer Mentoring program. Incoming students have the chance to meet with their mentors, to ask questions and bond before classes begin! 

Time: 10am-11am, 11am-12pm

International Centre

The hub for all International Student’s, it provides support for Permits & Visas, International Orientation, Health & Dental Insurance, Academic Support, Housing, Finances, Graduation and more.  

Time: 11am-3pm
