North Campus - Orientation

Orientation programing will also occur while Meet Your Faculty sessions run. Here you will have the chance to choose your journey at your Orientation. You can choose from participating in the departmental wide services fair, sign up for a campus tour, join IGNITE with there fun activities, eat delicious food, take a break at our wellness break session, and meet new people! For our Carrier Drive students we will have shuttle bus service to bring you to and from Carrier to experience our fun activities.
All First-Year students are welcome to join us at the North Campus. Please read below for some of the fun activities we have planned for you!

Campus Tours
With the support from the recrutiment team, we will have Humber Ambassadors present for Campus Tours. Campus tours will be running throughout the day, check in at the Learning Resource Commons (LRC) to sign up for a Campus tour!

Services Fair
Join us at a 1 stop shop where you will meet many departments and services at Humber! Here you will have the opportunity to chat with different departments that include our equity hubs, academic services, advancement services, wellness services and more!

International Centre
Come join us at International Orientation! Stop by our game stations, have some fun, and chat with our friendly International Ambassadors about everything from Health & Dental Insurance, and Academic Support to Housing, Finances, Graduation, and more!

SIN Clinic
Need help with your SIN card? There will be a SIN Clinic for students!

Humber Esports
Humber Esports is the hub for gaming and esports at Humber Polytechnic and the University of Guelph-Humber. We offer a competitive varsity program with multiple teams, enhanced by innovative academic integration and industry collaborations.

New Student Social
First Year Experience and Orientation provides students with a Peer Mentoring program. Incoming students have the chance to meet with their mentors, to ask questions and bond before classes begin!

Welcome Stations
Orientation provides guidance throughout the area for new students to know exactly where they need to go and how to get there. Volunteers situated all over both the campuses are happy to help students. If you are lost during Orientation, find an Ask Me station!
