Application Process for Research Projects Involving Human Participants

  1. Review the Humber Policy on Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans.
  2. Complete the Humber REB Application Form and attach all required supporting documentation
  3. Review the entire application package to verify completeness
  4. Submit a single PDF copy of the application, including all necessary signatures, via email to reb@humber.ca (see side information for instructions on how to save and combine PDF files)

Multi-College Expert Panel Ethics Review Process

Applicants conducting minimum-risk research at multiple colleges in Ontario are eligible to apply for a letter of recommendation from the Multi-College Expert Panel to streamline the ethics approval process. Download the Multi-College Expert Panel review process document for more information. Researchers who receive a Multi-College Expert Panel recommendation must still submit their Expert Panel recommendation letter, along with the approved ethics materials to the Humber REB for clearance.

  2. Review the application form and attachments to verify completeness
