Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) This was a gift for my friend's seventeenth birthday. He took a photo of a rose on his dresser bathed in sunlight, and I thought it would be a great challenge for me, and a great present for him, for me to try and paint the picture in my style. I adore the photo, so it inspired me to try and bring it to life in a different way.
