Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) "A(symmetrical)," shows that the beauty of symmetry is not just in its perfection, but in its ability to stand out amidst the asymmetrical chaos of the world around it. I was drawn to this scene as it reflects the moments, where even amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life, there exists a sense of calm and balance waiting to be discovered. I aim to evoke a sense of contemplation and appreciation for the beauty found in unexpected places. The image invites viewers to pause and consider the harmony that can emerge from the juxtaposition of order and chaos, inviting them to find serenity amidst the busyness of urban life. I chose Kodak Gold 200 Film as the film stock because it can perfectly render the warm tones of fall and especially the subtle pastel tones of the Building in the center that dominates the frame.
