Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) This self-portrait raises awareness about mental health struggles, particularly OCD. Despite appearing composed, my vacant stare reflects the exhaustion of masking true feelings. The repeating image of flowers and lines symbolizes the relentless loop of intrusive thoughts typical in OCD. The chaotic surroundings vividly depict visible struggles, emphasizing the challenges individuals face. It highlights the complexity of mental health, revealing the inner turmoil that is often concealed from others' view. It's a call for empathy and understanding, acknowledging the unseen battles faced beneath the surface.
