Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) The inspiration behind this piece comes from the crushing feeling of being lonely in a crowded room. The bright colours and chaotic environment greatly contrasts with the model's depressed state showing that it doesn't matter who you are in the room with, it matters what is battling through your brain. The blurriness of movement creates a sense of distortion showing how the model feels frozen still while the world passes him by. The disarray of his environment represents the confusion towards his situation and how it seems to be an unbroken, endless cycle of numbness and madness all at the same time.
