Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) In this photograph, a silhouette of a stark concrete fence positions itself between my lens and the subject. Through the manipulation of daylight and shadows I captured a fleeting, yet profound, moment from a stranger's life.

I saw this individual during my first trip, downtown Toronto to do photography, two weeks ago. Once I had framed the the composition I was happy with I waited patiently for a moment to capture.

This image serves as a reminder that photography surpasses the simple act of capturing a moment in time. It is an artistic endeavor that extends beyond mere documentation, representing emotion and feelings - reliving a moment captured through light.
