Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) In this artwork, I wanted to depict an atmosphere of comfort and calmness through companionship. I hold the belief when someone is lonely, words do not always need to be spoken, instead, it is their company that brings enough comfort; I think pets are a wonderful example of this. Feeling stress regarding anything such as school, work, and depicted greatly here is the passing of time, is a common hardship may face and I feel it is important to take time away for self-care. I hoped to establish an image of that battle of stress being fought through the pure love brought by a companion such as a cat.
