8.25 x 5.9 inches (length x height)
Original Piece
This work was heavily inspired by the painting Ophelia by John Everett Millais, though there are significant differences from Millais’ painting, so I’m not sure if this falls under a reproduction or an original piece. I painted Jules in the halloween episode as the character Ophelia from Shakespeare’s play hamlet because i thought it was fitting with how they’re both driven to self-sabotage from love. In the episode, Jules drowns herself in alcohol as well as jumps into a pool because of her worries about Nate, who she used to love, blackmailing her as well as Rue’s wellbeing.
