Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) This artwork is a study in graphite pencil, with a bust statue of medusa for reference. I was drawn to this bust particularly for its portrayal of medusa as a beautiful woman despite having a head full of snakes. The curves and position of the bust make for a really interesting piece.
