Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) The weathered hands of the man clutching the ticket perfectly captures the feeling of hope held by those who have spent a life in an industry driven by results. I thought capturing his hands with a blurred background of other racegoers would make for an interesting, symbolic photo.
