Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) | Patience: as described by the Oxford dictionary is the capacity to tolerate without getting angry, upset or restless. In laymans terms, patience may be obtained by practicing restraint and being more pro-active than re-active, by persevering, but in more humane terms, can patience really be achieved? The uncanny resemblance between an always on the go human, and a fleeting butterfly, puts the idea of "patience" into perspective. How two impatient beings come together, to stop for a moment and breathe. |
