The “Research Analyst Program: Turning Data into Understanding” session will introduce you to the world of research analysis. The sessions will include an overview of the program, presentations of previous student projects, and a Q+A session with the RAP Program’s Program Coordinator, Mary Takacs, and acting Associate Dean, Michael Wells.

Learn all about the range of skills that graduates from the Research Analyst Program develop so that they can provide decision-makers in the private and public sectors with the information that they need to make informed and impactful decisions.

  • Real-World Skills: Learn about the practical and in-demand skills that RAP graduates gain in the program. RAP students learn to perform industry-level qualitative and quantitative research, and they learn how to present the findings of their research to a wide range of audiences.
  • Career Pathways: Find out about the diverse career paths available to RAP graduates in both market researcher and social research. Former RAP students have gone on to have engaging careers in market research firms as well as in government, NGOs, academic institutions, hospitals, schools, and other non-commercial organizations.
  • Work Integrated Learning: Hear about how students gain valuable industry experience and networking opportunities during their semester-long placement with an industry partner.
