OCAD U recognizes the Art Fundamentals Certificate (and other variations of the name) from the “Partner Institutions” list as meeting the criteria for a conditional offer for Year 2 entry to one of the following Bachelor of Fine Arts programs:
Admission Requirement Applicants must graduate by June for September entry with an overall average of 75% (3.0 GPA). A portfolio is not required for admission; however, applicants must meet OCAD U’s English prerequisite and language proficiency requirements (if applicable). Students admitted through this transfer pathway will receive a block transfer of 3.5 first-year Faculty of Art studio credits and will be eligible to graduate with a Bachelor Fine Arts degree in approximately 3 years. Transfer credits in Arts & Science courses will be evaluated separately on an individual basis. Number of years to complete pathway: 3 |
