Nature Board Games - Student Drop-in

Smiling students play a card game in the Centre for Urban Ecology

Students from Humber Polytechnic and University of Guelph-Humber are invited to drop by the Centre for Urban Ecology in the Humber Arboretum to play some nature-themed board games. Bring some friends or come by yourself and make new ones.

Each month we'll be highlighting a few games from our collection with our staff there to teach everyone how to play. But we'll also have others on hand that you're welcome to try on your own.

In February we're highlighting:

Ecosystems: Place your cards strategically to create a thriving ecosystem.

Corvids: Take on the roll of a raven, crow, magpie, or jay and aim for the most clever collection of trinkets.

Mariposas: Guide generations of monarch butterflies as they migrate up and down North America.

Plus, you can keep the fun going afterwards because our friends from Humber & University of Guelph-Humber Library will be joining us with some nature-themed books and board games that students can sign out on the spot and take home.
