In this free workshop series, we'll introduce some of the basic skills to get you started.
Knowing how to securely tie a variety of knots is a fun-to-learn and often-overlooked skill that's useful in many situations. Participate in this free session that will get you started with a few fundamental knots.
Whether you find yourself in a survival situation or just like to make natural crafts, you'll appreciate being able to create your own rope or twine from natural materials.
Learn the basic safety rules and techniques for wood carving by trying your hand at making a simple spoon.
Learn this bushcraft technique for hollowing out wood for a spoon or bowl by using a glowing ember from a fire. Participants from the spoon carving workshop are encouraged to bring your spoon to finish, or participants can bring another piece of wood you'd like to try the technique on.
