Junior Naturalist Camp: Insectopia - Mission Monarch

Humber Arboretum day camps are based out of the Centre for Urban Ecology, but campers will spend most of their time outdoors where they will make their own discoveries in the forest, river, meadows, wetlands, gardens, and ponds of the Humber Arboretum.

The Junior Naturalist program is for curious youth ages 12 to 13 and focuses on fun, in-depth explorations of the weekly theme and the flora and fauna of the Humber Arboretum.

Insectopia: Mission Monarch

It's time to look closely at the tiny, astonishing world of invertebrates. With a special focus on the Monarch Butterfly, we'll look at how to protect and restore habitat, and contribute to the Monarch Watch citizen science project.
