The Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation is pioneering a new model of collaborative education focused on industry and community partnerships and advanced technology.
The Centre is a 93,000-square-foot collaborative space, located at Humber College's North Campus and features makerspaces, digital activity and media zones, technology zones and project rooms.
The Barrett CTI is the first of Humber’s Centres of Innovation (COIs) to be housed in a stand-alone facility. The COIs are exemplars of Humber’s unique model of polytechnic education, bringing together interdisciplinary teams of faculty experts, students and technicians to collaborate with industry partners and community organizations to solve complex, real-world innovation challenges.
