Partner with the Humber Centre for Social Innovation

When you partner with the Centre for Social Innovation you also have access to Humber’s entire COI Network. This gives you access to all five COIs and the college’s entire innovation ecosystem, including the six academic Faculties, the Office of Research and Innovation (ORI), the Centre for Innovative Learning (CIL), and the Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) team.

Partnering with us also grants access to the incredibly talented pool of Humber students, which currently totals more than 33,000 full-time students from 130 different countries. By working with us, partners can help ensure that students have the right skills and experience to succeed in the workforce while addressing systemic social barriers and open-up social opportunities.

GARDENS

Partner: Lamp CHC

We are a dedicated community of growers helping fight food insecurity in South Etobicoke through training residents in urban gardening and the installment and maintenance of community garden “pods”. All food grown in distributed to the community.

Social Impact of Unsolved Cases on Families and Community

Partner: Othram Inc.

This exciting new partnership will lead to:

  • State of the art applied research initiatives to drive validation and adoption of new DNA technology in forensics. 
  • Cutting-edge curriculum to develop the next generation of forensic professionals in diverse topics such as genomics, bioinformatics, and forensic genetic genealogy. 
  • Actionable insights on the impact of cold case backlog reduction at the level of victims, their families and society at large to affect social policy change.
