Application Process for International Students

Application Fee (non-refundable) is $75.00 CAD.

**Apply for September 2024/January 2025 and get an automatic entrance scholarship*!**

International students in Canada with a valid study permit will receive prioritized admissions for September 2024/January 25 along with a $1,000 scholarship* and application fees waived. After you have submitted your application, you will receive communication about the transfer credit process. The application must be submitted with the corresponding term waiver code. To be eligible for the scholarship, you must indicate your current address in Canada (and have a valid study permit uploaded) when filling in your online application.

The IGS offers a variety of programs at the graduate certificate level that all offer direct training for the most in-demand roles in Canada’s workplaces. Most of our graduate certificates offer work-integrated learning experience, specialised student support, and an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach.

English Proficiency Requirements

English Proficiency Requirements	Ontario Graduate Certificates
Humber English For Academic Purposes*	Level 8 with 80% or higher
IELTS* (Academic)	Overall 6.5 (no single score below 6.0)
TOEFL*	580 paper or 88 IBT (no single test below 22)
Pearson Language Test Evaluation* (PTE)	Minimum score: 60–64
Duolingo	Between 125-130

Application Fee (non-refundable) is $75.00 CAD.

^† All transcripts must be translated into English and notarized.

*Scores for the standardized English language tests may vary by program and are only valid for a 24-month period from the date of testing to the start date of the program.
