Whether you're studying math, physics, or computing, free tutoring and study support are available to help you succeed — online or in person.

 

One on One Tutoring for First Year Courses

Tutoring is available for first year Calculus, Physics and Linear Algebra, and other STEM courses, provided by our Co-op Math Tutors (university students working at Humber) and Peer Tutors (upper year Humber students who are in your program).

One on one tutoring appointments are available both in person or online.

PASS Program for STEM Courses

PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions) is a support program with peer-led study sessions for challenging courses. Sessions focus on reviewing course content and building study skills in a group setting that is led by trained upper-year students who have successfully completed the course.

STEM Drop-in Hours 

Have quick questions or need immediate help? Visit our STEM Specialists during drop- in hours, no appointment needed! Support is offered for select courses in math, physics, and engineering.

  • Summer 2025 Hours:
    • CALC 1500 and ENGI 1500: Wednesdays and Thursdays, 1:00-3:00 pm, North Campus Math and Writing Centre (3rd Floor, Learning Resource Commons)
    • All Technical Math (TMTH) Courses: Monday-Friday, 9:30 am-5:00 pm, North Campus Math and Writing Centre (3rd Floor, Learning Resource Commons)
  • Connect with a STEM Specialist

 

Review Sessions

Join problem-solving workshops and review sessions before midterms or finals. These sessions are organized by your instructors and focus on exam preparation for select STEM courses.

Study Buddy Sessions

Looking for classmates to study with? Join a Study Buddy group to connect with peers, review course material, and build good study habits together. These informal, student-led groups are a great way to stay motivated and supported.

Faculty Support

We work closely with faculty to provide tailored learning support for STEM students. From in-class tutoring to custom review sessions, instructors can request targeted assistance to help students succeed in challenging courses.
