The Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is offered in partnership with the National Payroll Institute. This program prepares payroll practitioners to manage the compliance requirements of an organization's annual payroll cycle, deliver clear and reliable payroll information, and contribute a payroll perspective to organizational policy and strategy discussions. When you become receive your designation, you join a growing community of supportive professionals and gain access to the resources you need to stay current and compliant.
Compulsory courses can only be taken one at a time and must be taken in sequence. Courses are in a blended format. Students are required to have access to a computer and the internet.
Registration
In addition to registration and payment of tuition to Humber Polytechnic, learners must register and pay the institute’s applicable (s) for each course. Registration forms complete with payment, must be submitted to National Payroll Institute no later than two weeks prior to the course start date in order to ensure timely delivery of printed course material. PCP Certification Requirements
All courses and electives require a passing grade of 65% in order to be accepted towards the designation. Prior to receiving designation from the National Payroll Institute, students must have at least one year of work experience. Part-time students can obtain the work experience requirement within five years before or five years after the start date of their first successful attempt at the Payroll Compliance Legislation course.
Learners enrolled in an Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) approved micro-credential program can apply for financial assistance through OSAP for Micro-credentials. Eligible students must apply for funding for each course separately by following the step-by-step application process. Applications for OSAP for Micro-credential assistance cannot overlap with another micro-credential study period (funding for multiple courses cannot be applied for concurrently).

To be eligible for funding through the OSAP for Micro-credentials courses, you must meet the criteria below as well as certain residency and income requirements specified on the OSAP website:

You are required to register for each individual course included in a CE program. You can register for a course by selecting it and following the instructions in the “How to Register” box.
Each CE program is comprised of a series of courses which may all have different fees. You are required to register for each course individually and pay the associated fees. Once you select the course, the fee is displayed in the “How to Register” box.
