On Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Tops supermarket in Buffalo, New York ten people were murdered and three people were injured in a racially motivated, terrorist attack on Black shoppers. Eleven of the 13 victims were Black. This horrific intentional act of anti-Black racism reminds us of the violence and hatred perpetrated toward Black people on a daily basis.

The Orientation Team within Student Success and Engagement (SSE) is excited to begin collaborating with academic faculties and campus partners in preparation for Fall 2022 Orientation. We look forward to working with you all to support new students in their transition to Humber College.

May is Jewish Heritage Month in Canada. In recognition of Jews who live in Canada, the fourth largest Jewish community in the world, Humber Libraries would like to shine a light on five Jewish, contemporary writers from the Greater Toronto Area, who push boundaries and challenge convention in their writing, expression and politics.
