Toward a diverse film & media sector: NBCUniversal NextGen Diversity Scholarships

Humber College has received a donation from NBCUniversal to support the next generation of Canadian film and media industry professionals and creators.  

NBCUniversal and Humber have created the NBCUniversal NextGen Diversity scholarships to help equip and train students studying in Film and Media-related programs at Humber who self-identify as Indigenous peoples, women, or racialized persons. The scholarships were developed to help foster a future media landscape that is more diverse and inclusive.

Alex shares her story surrounding sexual violence along with ways to prevent this harm from happening. She dives in deep with her own experiences and shares what she has been through as a survivor of sexual violence.
