The Business School’s Placement Centre hosted their annual Employer Appreciation Event on Thursday September, 18^th at Lakeshore Campus. The event served as a thank you from Humber College to past, current and future employers for their support of our students during their work term placements. The event was a major success, with over 200 guests in attendance, including industry professionals, degree students, alumni, faculty, advisory committee members and other partners. The Employer Appreciation Event is a particularly valuable opportunity for students to meet industry professionals, gain insight into their chosen fields as well as find placements. The event provided everyone in attendance the opportunity to meet, mingle and network while enjoying great music, food and conversation.

Thanks to the enthusiastic and energetic team at The Placement Centre, including Antoniette Di Marco (Manager), Laurie Bradford, Mary Cantisano, Allison Scully, Viji Prakash (Placement Advisors), Kristin Arcega and Stephanie Portelance (Work Study Students); a special thanks to Associate Deans, Paul Griffin and James Cullin, as well as the Humber College business students who assisted and attended the event.
