Humber Math and Writing Centre presents Academic Integrity: Avoiding Plagiarism

Why is citing sources so important?

• When do I need to cite?
• What is acceptable when paraphrasing?
• What if I can't find the original source?
• How can I check if my work is free of plagiarism?

Free one-hour workshops available every week from February 23 to April 23, except Reading Week.

• Mondays at 12 p.m.
• Tuesdays at 3 p.m.
• Thursdays at 1 p.m.
• Fridays at 10 a.m.

To sign up, follow these steps:

1. Register in our online booking system at https://humber.mywconline.com
2. Select the "Writing Support Winter 2021" schedule
3. If booking before February 22, click on “next week” at the top of the screen
4. Look for Academic Integrity Workshop in the left margin on any of the days listed above, and then click on the white box on that line
5. Fill out the form
6. Click on Create Appointment
