It is with mixed emotions that I announce the departure of Denis Gravelle, the School of Applied Technology’s Director, CE and Workforce Development. Denis will be leaving Humber College on July 10, 2013.

Since Denis started in March 22, 2010 he has made many positive contributions to the School. He significantly increased the number of CE courses and programs, and expanded partnerships with industry, community and government organizations. He started three Bridging Programs for internationally trained immigrants which remain strong today.

Denis believes passionately in online learning and the value of social media and the web as marketing tools. He was a major influence in the redesign of the School website and the School’s increased presence on Twitter, Facebook and other sites.

We wish Denis all the best on his future endeavors.
