Anthony Morgan LL.B, Human Rights, Equity & Diversity Advisor

The Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Diversity | HR Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Morgan as Humber’s Human Rights, Equity & Diversity Advisor effective July 29, 2013.  Anthony is contracted to cover a one year maternity leave.

Anthony’s area of focus in his law studies is equity and human rights in Canada. He recently completed his articling at the Occupational Health and Safety Tribunal Canada (OHSTC) where he is lauded for his critical analytic perspective brought to each case.  As a law student, Anthony worked as a Research Assistant for Hon. Madame Justice Westmoreland-Traoré of the Court of Quebec.  In particular, Anthony coordinated and contributed to writing a text titled, A Judge’s Handbook on Equality and Diversity.  As the National President for the Black Law Student’s Association, Anthony was instrumental in developing and facilitating initiatives aimed at promoting outreach and awareness to increase the number of racialized students pursuing legal education

In his role at Humber, Anthony will be reporting to Nancy Simms, Director, Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Diversity | HR Services.
