We are pleased to announce the following structural changes to Applied Research and Innovation (ARI) in order to better serve the Humber community. Effective immediately, we are delighted to report that ARI will work with Peter Madott to integrate HumberLaunch into the Centre for Entrepreneurship. To facilitate this process Laura Keating will assume operational responsibility for HumberLaunch and work with Peter to assume a smooth transition. Laura will also continue to lead and help develop external funding proposals that support applied research projects within the various Humber schools. Current staff working at HumberLaunch will report into Laura allowing Dr. Matias Golob to assume a leadership role for the launch of the Centre of Innovation in Health and Wellness. Mat will report directly to Darren Lawless but will be guided in the work for the CoI by a Steering Committee that will be co-chaired by Jason Powell (Dean, Health Sciences) and Susan Somerville (Dean, Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism).
