Artificial Intelligence Research Study

Jennie Miron (Faculty of Health Sciences & Wellness) and Mark Karam (Faculty of Media & Creative Arts) are completing a REB-approved research project titled the Artificial Intelligence Applications Acceptance Pilot Study (REB-0324). We adapted an existing survey tool with four subscales to learn more about what influences teachers to adopt genAI in their teaching practices. Our initial pilot reported three of the four subscales to be valid and reliable. To that end, after further consultation with experts, we have revised and would like to re-test one subscale to establish its reliability and validity. Once the tool has been established to be reliable and valid we hope to complete a larger study in 2024.

We ask that full-time, part-time, and sessional teachers at Humber complete this short survey. It is estimated that it will take you about 10 minutes to complete and there is a detailed explanation of the request included in the introduction. Your participation is confidential and voluntary.
