This past Tuesday, Baking and Pastry Arts students and faculty baked a whopping 500 pies in support of United Way. Staff and students gathered together all evening to bake a delicious array of flavours - including apple crumble, southern pecan, spiced pumpkin and bumbleberry - just in time for Thanksgiving. 

A big thank you goes out to Chefs Kumar, Ku, Gonzalez, Joseph and Smith for organizing the production and to all the students who helped make the pies. It was not only a learning experience in collaboration and team work, but was also a fun way to spend an evening.
