Bringing in the Bystander

April 28, 2016

Do you have students working in your school or department this summer?

Why not give them a great skill development opportunity by having them participate in the Bringing in the Bystander training. Bringing in the Bystander uses a community of responsibility model to teach bystanders how to intervene safely and effectively in cases where sexual violence may be occurring or where there may be risk. The program message is that “Everyone in the community has a role to play in ending sexual violence.”

This is a great opportunity for any student to engage in an important, CCR certified, training session as an engaged member of the Humber and Guelph-Humber community.

If you have any interested students that would like to join the training program, please contact Kathy Donaldson at kathy.donaldson@humber.ca or 416.675.6622 x5670 by Friday, May 6, 2016.
