All Humber and UofGH Networks to Transition to eduroam on Monday, May 3, 2021
Humber College and the University of Guelph-Humber are consolidating wireless networks to simplify and improve the user experience. On Monday, May 3, 2021, the eduroam wireless network will become the single network available to all students, staff, and faculty when on the Humber and University of Guelph-Humber campuses (North and Lakeshore).
In addition to providing secure on campus connectivity, eduroam offers simple, secure WIFI access from thousands of access points at colleges and universities worldwide. By using their login credentials, students, staff, and faculty can access the internet securely through the eduroam wireless network at participating post-secondary institutions globally.
If coming to campus over the next few weeks you will notice that other WIFI networks will no longer be visible, and effective May 3, these additional networks will be deactivated. At that time, students, staff, and faculty wanting to access WIFI will be required to login to the eduroam wireless network. Login instructions are below and will be posted on signage located on campus at main entrances and on digital screens for the coming months.
