Looking for a place to upload the videos you’ve created and engage your students?
Humber’s video streaming platform, Ensemble Video, allows you to easily access, upload, stream, caption, annotate and share educational video content. And what’s more, Ensemble has already made it easier for faculty to plan and incorporate media into their courses.
There are over 500 videos up on the platform, which are:
- organized
- Blackboard-compatible
- course-specific
- accessible
- shareable
- copyright-compliant
It can be private or collaborative
An initiative of the Academic and Educational Technology Committee, Ensemble Video lets you:
- access high-quality videos from your school’s shared repository
- create private playlists exclusive to your course
- upload videos that you’ve created for your course
- collaborate with others to create a hub for program-specific video content
- embed videos in Blackboard for easy student access
Pilot projects on Ensemble Video
Ensemble offers us the opportunity to work directly with program co-ordinators to set up certain customizable services like video assignment submissions and comprehensive captioning to make videos more accessible.

Faculty and staff belonging to the schools, along with the departments who create and provide access to educational videos.
Instructional Support
The Centre for Teaching and Learning is pleased to offer Ensemble Video workshops. Go to humber.ca/centreforteachingandlearning/calendar.html for the dates and to register for a session. Faculty can also drop by the Instructional Support Studio for support using the platform.
