There will be an external film shoot taking place at Lakeshore Campus on Monday, October 5, 2020.
On Sunday, October 4 there will be a large crew prepping their filming areas: exterior of C, D, E & F Cottage as well as Parking Lot 4 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Filming will commence on October 5 at 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the following areas (rain date on October 13):
- Exterior of C Cottage
- Exterior of D Cottage
- Exterior of E Cottage
- Exterior of F Cottage
- G Cottage Interior (Holding Space)
- Parking Lot 4 and 7 stalls in Lot 5
Please note that Lot 4 and 7 stalls in Lot 5 will be unavailable all day on October 5. Please do not leave any vehicles parking overnight in the aforementioned areas. The parking stalls between E and F Cottage will also be unavailable all day on October 5. Parking will be available in Lot 5 or Lot 1. Accessible parking stalls can be found near Tim Hortons. The crew will complete their set teardown by October 6.
Security has been arranged through Public Safety to be onsite while the film crew is on Humber property.
FYI the production will be filming off campus in the afternoon on October 5 after coming onto Humber property on Colonel Samuel Smith Boulevard by the field. TPS has been hired by the production company to assist with traffic direction and stoppage on Colonel Samuel Smith Park Boulevard.
In addition to Humber College’s COVID-19 protocols, productions are to follow the COVID-19 Safety Guidelines for the Film and Television Industry in Ontario approved by the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skill Development. Information can be found here. Productions will also implement additional safety measures in coordination with the Toronto Film Office safety guidelines.
