FAST Students Shine on the World Stage in the October FAST Times

As we observe leaves turning into hues of red and gold, this colourful transition reflects our return to the fall academic term as we settle into new routines while continuing to push the boundaries in research and innovation.

In the October FAST Times, we showcase Associate Dean, Francis Syms who shines a spotlight on the exceptional achievements and expertise of our faculty members who are dedicated to advancing knowledge and academic excellence in their respective fields.

We have many more compelling stories that I look forward to you discovering on the following pages including two FAST students who proudly represented Humber and Team Canada at the WorldSkills International Competition in Lyon, France; and how we collaborated with industry partners to launch the new multi-disciplinary PROJ 300 course.

Warm regards,

Paul Griffin
Senior Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences & Technology
