December 9, 2014
Congratulations to the Humber-Lakeshore DECA U member, Krishna Latchman, who came in 1st place at the Social Entrepreneurship Conference held at Ryerson University on October 31st. The conference is a networking event for postsecondary students involved in the many DECA U chapters across Ontario. Students have the opportunity to meet with industry professionals and participate in skill building exercises.

Krishna is a 1st year student in the Bachelor of Commerce – Finance program who participated in the Business Ethics team case competition category against 20 teams. The teams had 30 minutes to prepare and 10 minutes to present in front of industry professionals and DECA alumni. Krishna was paired with a delegate from DECA U Ryerson. Their problem solving, presentation, and critical thinking skills impressed the judges and landed them with a 1st place win in the Business Ethics case competition category.

Congratulations Krishna!
