Humber Launches Free Program for Youth Looking to Transition to Postsecondary

Humber College is pleased to announce the launch of the Youth Transition Program. This unique 6-week program is free of charge; and has been designed to help youth (ages 19-29) transition successfully to college, whether they have completed high school or not. This will be achieved through a strong focus on developing individualized learning plans, mentoring, advising, career exploration and skill building. Participants will also be able to take part in a variety of hands-on learning opportunities in areas like Media, Health, Business or Technology. Lunch and transit tokens will also be provided to participants.

The program will help youth:

  • Explore college programs and career options
  • Build core academic skills
  • Learn how OSAP can help pay for college
  • Create a plan for their career goals

Program Start Date:  November 6, 2017

Interested candidates must attend an information session to apply for this program.
