Humber Orangeville Presented a Sesquicentennial Commemorative Award

October 24, 2013

Yesterday at the annual Town of Orangeville's Economic Department Breakfast, the Humber Orangeville Campus was presented with a special 150 Sesquicentennial Commemorative Award in recognition of outstanding contributions to the Town of Orangeville and community.

On-hand to receive this award (and we didn't know Humber was going to be acknowledged at all) was Humber President, Chris Whitaker and Orangeville Campus Director, Joe Andrews along with Town of Orangeville Mayor, his Worship, Rob Adams.

This award capped off a wonderful morning where retired General Rick Hillier was the keynote speaker.

Humber is proud to be part of this community and is enhancing its commitment at the Orangeville Campus with the addition of new full-time programming in the fall 2014. Fitness and Health Promotion and Tourism Management will be added to the full-time program menu.
