#HumberAtHome Series – April 28

As we continue to work and learn at home, it’s important to stay connected to our colleagues and our community. To help keep us all connected, we created the #HumberAtHome series. We want to know about how you are taking care of your well-being right now, how your teams are adding a bit of fun into your interactions, and which resources are helping you.

Here are some examples of what members of the Humber community are doing to bring their community together:

A message from the Child Development Centre staff:

“We are all in this together so please stay home and help us stop the spread. Be well, stay safe. We all want to be together soon.”

Individual Tips From Humber Staff

Kellie Elliot teaches yoga with Humber Fitness North and created a Yoga YouTube channel to stay in regular contact with all her students. She was inspired to learn about creating a successful YouTube channel and how to post quality content online. She has special guests who make regular appearances, two black cats named Betsey and Rapture. Even though they are great company, Kellie is looking forward to getting back in the studio and seeing everyone again. It’s a new beginning to the week and Kellie is encouraging everyone to attend this short and energizing virtual class. Starting the week off with movement is key. As the weather gets nicer, Kellie will start Backyard Yoga to complement the Living Room Yoga.
