The Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre would like to thank the Humber community for their support during the recent I Love First Peoples shoebox campaign in support of the children of Kashechewan First Nation. We are happy to announce that thanks to your support, we donated 65 shoeboxes that were each filled with educational items, warm supplies, personal notes, and $5 to support transportation on the ice road. We also donated additional funds to support another 17 boxes plus boxes of craft supplies and school supplies.

We are grateful for such a warm response to the campaign and look forward to another successful event next year!
