The Importance of Mapping your I-Drive

Information Technology Services is here with a friendly reminder. With the decommissioning of MyFiles fast approaching on Tuesday, November 1, Humber staff and faculty, when working remotely, are encouraged to continue accessing their I-Drive through remote access (VPN) and mapping their network drive.

To map your I-drive, users will need to be connected to the Humber network remotely, via VPN. For more information on connecting to VPN, please refer to our VPN Quick Reference Guide.

Having the network drive mapped will allow users to navigate to and access their I-Drive easily and quickly. Simply point and click to access network resources, whether working on a Windows or Mac device

For more information about mapping your I-drive from a Windows or Mac device please visit our Quick Reference Guide

Once set up is complete, your mapped drive will appear in the File explorer for Windows and on the desktop of a Mac.
