Introducing Ensemble Video: Humber’s New Video Streaming Platform

October 11, 2016

We are pleased to share the news that Ensemble Video, an initiative from the Academic and Educational Technology Committee, is now available.

Faculty and staff can access this new streaming video platform with their Humber credentials, to upload, manage and share their own educational video content with colleagues and students.

Why Use Ensemble Video?

Sharing is easy

  • With the built-in Blackboard integration, sharing a video you created for your students is simple. Select the video of your choice (or playlist) from your school’s shared repository and students can instantly view the content within your Blackboard course.
  • Your videos can also be shared using permalinks or via social media.

It’s accessible

  • Are you looking for a way to caption your videos? Use the built-in Amara editor to caption your videos directly within the platform – or upload a caption file that you’ve already created.
  • Use the annotation tool to create chapter markers within a video for interactive viewing.

It’s collaborative

  • Ensemble Video is a shared workspace; which means that it is much easier to share video content with your colleagues.
  • Simply login and browse the videos already uploaded to your school’s repository.
