Jennifer Barolet, Director, Professional and Continuing Education, School of Applied Technology

I am pleased to announce that Jennifer Barolet has been appointed as the Director, Professional and Continuing Education for the School of Applied Technology, effective August 12, 2013.

Jennifer is a licensed professional engineer in Ontario with a broad range of experience. Most recently Jennifer was the Program Coordinator and professor in our Civil Engineering Technology Program. Previously she has held leadership and management positions in several sectors including: Canadian Steel Industry (Stelco Hilton Works and Stelco), Ontario Ministry of the Environment (Wastewater Approvals Unit), Atomic Energy of Canada (Corporate Environmental and Safety Oversight), and Engineering Consulting (Jacques Whitford Ltd).

Jennifer is a college graduate, with a Pharmaceutical-Chemical Co-op Technology Advanced Diploma from Seneca College. She also holds a B. A. Sc. in Chemical Engineering (University of Toronto) and a M. Eng. In Civil Engineering (University of Toronto).

Jennifer is an enthusiastic supporter of continuing education and has completed Humber’s Teaching Effectiveness Program.
