It is with mixed emotions that we announce the official retirement of Joanne Patchett and thank her for 33 years of dedicated and phenomenal service to Humber. Joanne’s last working day will be on Thursday, May 31, 2018.

Joanne started her career with Humber College as a Programmer Analyst with ITS in 1985. In 1994, she joined the Human Resources team as the Manager of HR Systems, and from there, moved into the role of Manager, Compensation and Benefits. For the past year she has been a valued member of the HRMS project team as a compensation and benefits subject matter expert.

Joanne served on the CAAT Pension Working Group and the Joint Insurance Committee for many years providing expertise and advice on pension and benefits related matters, both for Humber and for the College Employer Council. During her time on the HRMS project, Joanne has been an integral part of the Project Team helping to shape and inform the design of processes on the new system.

We want to thank Joanne for sharing her deep knowledge and expertise in all areas of pension, compensation, payroll and benefits to the Humber HR team as well as the College system as a whole.

We proudly acknowledge Joanne’s outstanding customer service, strong leadership and the many years of dedicated service to HR and Humber as a whole.
