HR Services Announcement

Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathy Cowan Sahadath as Director, HR Services, effective September 3, 2013.

Kathy brings with her over 25 years of experience as a Human Resources Professional and has held progressively senior HR positions during her tenure at Hydro One Networks Inc. and Ontario Hydro. Kathy is a well-respected and highly qualified senior manager who has a proven track record of success in managing complex business initiatives, and achieving exceptional results. She is a proven change agent and has led a Human Resource Management System implementation and will be a tremendous asset to our team as we move forward with our search for a new system.

In her new role, Kathy will report to Deb McCarthy, Vice-President, Human Resources, she will be a key resource to the Vice-President and will be accountable for the day-to-day human resources operations for the college. Kathy holds a PhD and Masters from Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara in Human and Organizational Systems, a MBA in Project Management and an Advanced Graduate Diploma Management from Athabasca University, and a Honours Bachelor of Arts Psychology/Sociology from the University of Waterloo.
