Madhuker V. Akula, Project Coordinator

The Education & Training Solutions Department is pleased to announce, Madhuker Akula has joined the team on a one year contract basis in the role of Project Coordinator, Association & Partnership Programs, effective August 19, 2013.  

Madhuker received his Master of Science Degree in Instructional Technology from Philadelphia University in 2001; his Post Masters Certificate in Programming/Authoring from Philadelphia University in 2002; and, a Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Centennial College in 2009.

He began his career in Hyderabad, India as a Communications Specialist/Technical Writer for Olive Technology Pvt. Ltd. advancing to the role of Instructional Designer and finally Head of the Content & Design Services Team. He has also served as Adjunct Faculty at the Philadelphia University, School of Continuing Education. In 2009 after relocating to Toronto, he joined Centennial College as an Intern/Special Project Assistant in the School of Continuing Education moving on to become Program Officer, Corporate Training; and, Distance Learning Coordinator, and finally Project Manager in Instructional Design in the Centre for Organizational Learning & Teaching. Most recently he completed a contract position as a Distance Learning Program Development Specialist at the University of Guelph in the Centre for Open Learning and Educational Support.

Madhuker’s past experience in educational institutions combined with his expertise in instructional and program design will make him a valuable asset to our team. Please join me in welcoming him to our Department.
